This magical little path is a real spot down in the Salt Lake Valley ~ speckled with wildflowers and shaded by scraggly trees. Ears distance from the sound of a happy, babbling brook.*
Would like very much to be on this path today. Far from my computer and things that are making me fussy. We all have our faults. Well, at least I hope so. I’d hate to think I’m the only one who is bad at silly things…
1) Like phone calls. Love gettin’ them. Hate making ‘em. So, then half the world thinks I’m mad at them. Or, rude. Or, worse yet, a snob. When in reality I’m just kind of shy and far too dependent upon email.
2) Negotiating. Anything. Be that the cost of a horse, or even the price of a rug from a crafty street vendor. It appears I am the only person to have ever paid full retail for anything in Mexico.
Did you know? The essence of Shasta Daisy can remove mental clutter, confusion, and over-analytical thinking.
3) Third and worst of all… I cannot make a decision to save my soul. You know how most people weigh the pros and cons and quickly decide yay or nay? I can find enough pros on both sides of the coin to remain at a standstill for eternity.
Hopefully all that will improve sometime soon… Because today’s the day a half dozen Shasta Daisy seedlings are removed from my sunny window and planted in the soil.
Now if I could just decide where to put ‘em!
* As to the whereabouts of that magical little hiking path… Oh, come on! Did you really think I was going to spill the beans about where this is located? The whole magical aspect of this trail is that there aren’t any people on it.
